Don Badaczewski purchased CAL25 #466 Caldonia from local sail maker Bob Scoville many years ago and renamed it Bada Boom.
John & Tracy McAllister bought CAL25 #466 Bada Boom from Don Badaczewski in November 2012. The hull was renovated throughout the winter and renamed Patriot. Most of the running rigging was replaced and updated also.
Patriot placed second overall in the DRYA Season Championship. The boat placed first in the Rick Johnson Memorial double handed series and wrapped it’s first season by winning the 2013 CAL25 Long Distance Championship.
