It was a nice day of racing until the wind turned off. We had a good turnout with six Cal-25s charging the starting line. The DYC PP course was the usual triangle with the start at the GPYC and the finish located in front of the DYC river dock. All our Cals got off to a clean competitive start. There were a couple perceived lead changes throughout the day but in the end the lead boat just missed finishing within the five hour time limit. All the Cal-25s ended up scoring a TLE.
Nonetheless, flags were ceremoniously awarded and the DYC pool side party was a delight. Lots of food, drink and sailing stories followed.
