We had 7 boats out for the DBC point-to-point race last Saturday. Lots of position changes in shifty light air conditions.

This Saturday June 28 is the GPYC windward/leeward regatta. Standard C-course racing. Come out and play!

Unless I am mistaken they double up on the awards after the Bluenose…so…the party this Saturday is at Crescent. It is our annual Island Party, coinciding with the GPF fireworks, flyer attached. Note that it is a grill-your-own this year so it will be a typical CSYC summer evening plus a band and fireworks.

Spoke with Tyson Connelly this morning and the Nationals planning committee should be sending out a full information packet in the next week or so. They are confident in having 8 Port Huron boats, and the festivities will include entertainment both nights and a beer company sponsor. In the meantime, please register at http://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=1066 and pay your $100 as the deadline to avoid the late fee is July 1:

3.1 An entry fee of $100 is required to be paid by July 1st, 2014

3.2 A late fee of $20 will apply after the date.
