CAL25 #466 Patriot – Tracy and I planned to sail from CSYC to the Thames River for an overnight stay last August. We had to motor the whole way there since there was no wind. We spent the night and left the next morning with a strong breeze. Sailed a tight reach all the way home and throughly enjoyed the ride.
MATA was bought and repaired around the Costa Mesa area of California. She sailed me to Mexico, and spent two years around the Sea of Cortez. We took off together to Panama this past year departing from Puerto Vallarta, Mx. 32 day sail in total. Panama for the time being. Maybe thru The Canal come this winter. South America, next year???
