We purchased this Cal 25 last fall, 2014, and will be refitting her this spring. She’ll be raced out of Bayview Yacht Club with the Cal 25 Detroit Fleet. Her name is HUMMER after the adult ice cream rum beverage the Hummer. The Hummer drink was invented by the world famous Bayview bartender Jerome Adams. I heard Jerome say “Nothing beats a Hummer”, we all know that to be true . . . it’s a great drink! What a great slogan for a boat named Hummer, Nothing beats a Hummer!
